History of Troop 74
Mr. Marcus Yeakel was the first Scoutmaster for Troop 74 when it started over 65 years ago. The Troop was originally chartered in July 1958 at Bushkill United Methodist Church. Additionally, Aluta Mill Lodge of the Odd Fellows, Nazareth, Pennsylvania, and the Bushkill Township Fire Company sponsored the Troop for two years. Most recently, Holy Cross Lutheran Church has been the chartering organization and is where Troop 74 currently resides.
